PAYMENT GUIDLINE

1) New admissions will be made subject to the vacancies in the respective classes following admission procedure. No correspondence will be entertained regarding admissions.
2) School may follow: (i) First cum first basis
3) A candidate who joins fresh from home or from a private school has to produce an official Birth Certificate, T.C. from competant authorities, in support of the date of birth to be entered in the Admission Register of the School.
4) According to the Government regulation, only pupils who will complete five-and-a-half years by 1st June, can be admitted to Standard I and a corresponding scale of ages is fixed for the subsequent standards.
5) If the pupil comes from a school outside the State, the School Leaving Certificate must be countersigned by the inspector of the concerned State.

Library Facilities

We have very spacious Library with the books nearly displayed. It is well ventilated, it has a separate reference section cum reading room for teachers.Library Collection Library is well equipped with a good collection of books.The School Library is housed with more than 5000 books. All the reference books are stacked in the Reference Section which help to improve the values in the students. Library subscribes 10 magazines and various newspapers of English, Hindi and Odia which help the students to improve their general and current awareness. Books are arranged on the racks based on these class numbers.

Digital Classroom

Information and Communication Technology is the need of the hour and plays a pivotal role in moulding the 21st century youth. In its vision, the national Policy on ICT in School Education by MHRD Govt. of India states “The ICT policy in School Education aims at preparing youth to participate creatively in the establishment, sustenance and growth of a knowledge society leading to all around social economic development of the nation and global competitiveness”. In line with the CBSE requirement that makes ICT enabled teaching learning mandatory, Ab’s Oxford international school has equipped all classrooms with digital board instruction, to provide adequate exposure to the digital materials, to motivate and sustain student interest, to reinforce learning, and to create high-interest learning environment. Own Your Laptop & iPad Schemes introduced for teachers have also motivated them to actively participate in converting the ordinary classrooms into digitized ones. Teachers have mastered the use of these machines and utilize them with ease to create interesting and effective teaching learning tools. They are also involved in preparing digital teaching aids that can be preserved for future use.

    Canteen Facilities

    The canteen facility at AB’s Oxford International School is very much at the heart of school life and pupil experiences. Students are fortunate enough to have a reasonably priced, diverse and attractive menu on offer each day. The school operates a healthy eating policy and no fizzy drinks are permitted. Every pupil has the opportunity to have a hot meal during the course of the school day. The school canteen operates a breakfast facility from 8.30am. All students have had the opportunity to contribute ideas for healthy eating dishes through questionnaires. The school board meets annually with the Head of Canteen to discuss their ideas for the canteen. Students can order and pre-pay for their lunch at breakfast or break time. It can then be collected from our pre-paid only.

    Swimming Pool

    As part of the school’s co-scholastic, all students above 12 years receive swimming lessons by a qualified swimming instructor. The school’s aim is to ensure that all children are able to swim 25 metres unaided before they leave AB’s Oxford International School (AOIS). The pool is 15m x 11m and ranges in depth from 96 cm to 106 cm, the side area are stepped and is 60cm deep. The water temperature is 30°C. There are also showers, communal changing rooms, and toilet facilities within the enclosure.

    Horse Riding, Karate

    AOIS offers horse riding lessons and stable management lessons for children from the age of 10 upwards.All lessons are taught by Instructors. Week long courses and summer camps for children are available throughout the summer holidays. Horse riding lessons are considered to enable riders of all ages and ability to learn the skills and techniques necessary to become confident riders. KARATE All age groups have the opportunity for sport karate competition at a local,district and national level. Teens and adults have the opportunity to compete internationally if they choose to pursue these goals. AOIS offers karate classes for young children are designed specifically for pre-school aged children ages 8-16. These classes highlight the necessary qualities of good character; such as politeness, respect, and discipline. These karate classes are designed to promote development of motor skills and improve a child’s ability to pay attention and follow directions. All karate classes for young children are taught using fun and safe teaching methods appropriate for the age group.

  • Students at Ab’s Oxford International school (AOIS) can choose from a wide range of music/dance classes based on their interest and ability. We offer classes in both Indian and Western music and dance. The aim of this program is to develop in each child an appreciation for music and train them in the basics. More advanced students have the opportunity to train further under our classically trained teachers. At present, AOIS offers the following music/dance lessons:
